An Educational Journey into Rural Bangladesh

Day 01: .
Meet & greet at airport. Brief orientation on Bangladeshi culture & program schedule. Evening welcome dinner with traditional music. Overnight in Dhaka.

Day 02: Transfer to Village Homestay
Drive to selected host village (e.g., in Tangail, Manikganj, or Kishoreganj region). Warm welcome by host families. Orientation walk around the village – meet locals, see traditional mud houses, ponds, paddy fields. Dinner with host family. Overnight at village homestay.

Day 03:Village Life & Agriculture Experience
Early morning walk to fields & riverbanks. Hands-on farming experience (seasonal: planting rice, harvesting jute, fishing with nets). Visit local bazaar – observe traditional trade & village economy. Evening cultural gathering: folk songs (Baul / Bhatiali). Overnight in homestay.

Day 04: Cooking & Handicrafts Workshop
Learn to cook Bangladeshi dishes (pitha, dal, bharta, fish curry) with host family. Afternoon handicraft session (nakshi kantha embroidery, pottery, weaving). Interaction with village children in local school (optional cultural exchange program). Overnight at homestay.

Day 05: Religious & Cultural Heritage
Visit nearby Hindu temple / mosque / traditional village fair (if available). Learn about local rituals, festivals & community life. Storytelling session with village elders about folklore & history. Overnight in homestay.

Day 06: River Life & Farewell Festival
Boat ride on local river/canal to experience Bengal’s river culture. Fishing with local methods (cast net, bamboo traps). Evening farewell cultural program: traditional dance & songs performed by villagers. Exchange of gifts (crafts, cultural tokens) between guests & hosts. Overnight in homestay.

Day 07:Return to Dhaka & Departure
Morning send-off from host families. Return to Dhaka. Last-minute shopping for handicrafts. Transfer to airport for onward journey.
